The courses we are running include:
This course is an introduction to boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment.
This two-day entry level course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).
It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed and collision regulations. Our course is run at a coastal location.
Vital for days out boating, it covers how to operate the radio, what to say and how to relay information swiftly and clearly in emergency situations. Candidates must be 16 years or older on the day of the exam.
This exciting 1 day course is a vital introduction to riding personal watercraft. It teaches you how to get the best out of your time on the water by covering safe launches, making a good recovery, riding safely at speed and also becoming confident at controlling the power when you want to manoeuvre at low speed.
Our one-day course covers all the usual first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages.
In a medical emergency a little first aid knowledge and immediate action can save lives, especially in remote locations. This one-day course is designed to provide a working knowledge of first aid for people using small craft and to support skippers
